	Hobby Master 1/72 scale HA1045: Lockheed F-104S Starfighter of 9 Stormo, 10 Gruppo, Aeronautica Militare, Grazzanise AB, Italy, October 2004. Production run of 600 models. Length 9.25 inches Wingspan 3.75 inches F-104S Starfighter MM6934 was delivered to the Italian Air Force in September 1978 and assigned to the 36th Wing. In June 1984 MM6934 was assigned to 5 Stormo as 5-37. In April 2000 the aircraft was converted into an ASA-M and after several more moves the aircraft was assigned to 10 Gruppo/9 Stormo on November 11, 2001. On October 11, 2004 MM6934 of 9 Stormo completed its final flight as 9-51 having flown 3,836 hours. In 2014 the aircraft became a monument located at Grazzanise. The Aeritalia F-104S Starfighter was a licensed production Italian version of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, which served in the Italian Air Force (AMI, Aeronautica Militare Italiana), and was the AMI's mainstay from the late 1960s until the beginning of the 21st century. The F-104S also served in the Turkish Air Force until the mid-1990s. The F-104S was the final development of the Starfighter line. Derived from Lockheed's design studies on a "Super Starfighter", the F-104S was one of the most capable of the F-104 series, and destined to be the last in service worldwide. The F-104S (upgraded to ASA/M standard) was retired from service in October 2004.
